The Art Museum is again partnering with the Arts Council of Princeton to provide free online art-making experiences. Weekly classes are taught by artist-instructor Barbara DiLorenzo over Zoom, so participants can join live from home. A variety of media and techniques will be explored using readily available materials. Each lesson features works from the Museum’s collections and is introduced by an Art Museum Student Tour Guide.
This week’s class is inspired by El Anatsui’s Another Place, a shimmering, opalescent scrim of metal composed of hundreds of bottle tops. In this class we will use recycled materials found at home to create an abstract collage.
