ReMatch
Office of Undergraduate Research
If you're looking for an early, hands-on opportunity to explore your research interests, develop your skills, and meaningfully collaborate with advanced researchers, then ReMatch is for YOU! Join us and become part of a motivated and supportive group of interdisciplinary researchers at Princeton.
Why Participate?
Launched in the fall of 2014, ReMatch is a research-mentoring program designed to connect undergraduate students, graduate students and postdoctoral researchers through their shared interest in academic research.
You'll extend your knowledge of research practices, develop your expertise in an area that interests you, and build meaningful relationships with your mentor and peers.
Program Overview
In the fall, ReMatch undergraduates share interests and insights with graduate student and postdoc mentors from across university divisions.
You may choose to continue to build mentoring relationships in December with individual meet-ups and research shadowing.
In January, those who find their Research Match may formalize their mentor-mentee pairing and apply to the ReMatch+ program.
As a ReMatch+ fellow, you would receive a full stipend to conduct mentored research on campus and participate in the Summer Research Colloquium.
Whether you participate all year or only in the fall, ReMatch will unlock amazing research possibilities.
Who We Are
OUR has a four-part mission:
(i) to INFORM undergraduates about research at Princeton
(ii) to ENGAGE undergraduates with term time research workshops and networking events and with hands-on mentored research experiences during the summer.
(iii) to SUPPORT research across the four divisions and create a thriving and connected summer on-campus community
(iv) to PREPARE Princeton undergraduate researchers to serve as effective communicators and responsible citizens.
The program begins in September.
