Speaker Bio: Angela Maria Fasnacht is a distinguished environmental engineer and C-suite executive with a profound dedication to sustainability, public health, and environmental conservation. With over 26 years of extensive experience in the water utilities sector, spanning across the United States, Latin America, and East Africa, Dr. Fasnacht has left an indelible mark on the industry. Her professional journey has taken her from grassroots nonprofits to leading roles in prominent corporations, where she has excelled in various capacities including facilities design and operations, research and innovation, and executive and organizational leadership. In her current role as a Distinguished Visiting Fellow at Princeton University's Energy and Environmental Center, she collaborates closely with faculty, researchers, and students, enriching both research and teaching with her wealth of industry knowledge. She injects a sense of urgency into addressing pressing environmental challenges, notably focusing on contaminants of emergent concern such as PFAS, while actively contributing to the decarbonization of the water sector.
