In this session moderated by Elizabeth Adams, director of the Office of Research and Project Administration, government and academic research experts Tobin Smith and Joyce Rechtschaffen provide perspectives on research and innovation opportunities emerging out of the 117th Congress. Discussion topics included an overview of federal grantmaking agencies’ priorities and funding levels; pending legislation specifically focused on American innovation and competitiveness; and other new opportunities that may result from congressional activity of potential interest to NJ researchers and entrepreneurs.
