Professor Peter Brooks, a comparative literature scholar, with a special interest in 19th and 20th century French novels, discusses his current work-in-progress, "Seduced by Story: How Storytelling Has Taken Over Reality." Over the course of a remarkable academic career, Professor Brooks has been interested in psychoanalytical approaches to literature, and more recently, in the relationship of law and literature.
