The Novogratz Bridge Year Program's Voices series presents Sandy Pinto, an Afro-Bolivian activist and scholar, for a discussion on the history of racial discrimination in Bolivia. Focusing on the causes and consequences of systemic racism and how it functions within our bodies, Pinto explored the various artistic expressions and organizing strategies used in the Afro-Bolivian resistance movement. She also shared her personal experiences and an intersectional approach to the fight against racist practices in society.
