Princeton's Legacy in Computer and Data Science: Corporate Engagement with Tech Companies Reflects the University's Strength
From Tracy Meyer
Dean for Research Pablo Debenedetti highlights technology-related corporate engagement across Princeton's campus and traces the University's legacy in computer and data science back to the early 1800s.
Debenedetti spoke at the Spring 2018 conference of UIDP, an organization that brings companies and universities together to improve academic-industry collaborations. The four-day event was co-hosted in Silicon Valley by Princeton's Office of Corporate Engagement and Cisco and was the largest ever UIDP meeting. More than 300 attended to explore “Building U-I Partnerships in the Technology Ecosystem.”
Dean Debenedetti was introduced by Elizabeth Bruce of Microsoft.
