Princeton Professor Coleen Murphy presented
recent research at the University’s Biomedical Data Science Day, focused
on the regulation of longevity and age-related declines, using the nematode C.
elegans and human cells to help explain how long-lived animals are able to
carry out functions for an extended time. Her work may help shed light on how to
extend analogous functions in humans.
Biomedical Data Science Day was held on October 25, 2017 and was attended by 70+ professionals from industry, foundations, other universities and Princeton. This "Industry Engagement Day" was organized by the
Office of Corporate Engagement and Foundation Relations and the
School of Engineering and Applied Science.
