Princeton Professor Jonathan
Cohen presented recent research at the University’s Biomedical Data Science
Day, focused on combining imaging of brain function (from single neurons to
whole brain activity) with modern methods from statistics and machine learning
to measure, analyze, and simulate the brain’s own computations. His work through the Princeton Neuroscience Institute is designed to increase understanding of how the human brain works; it has the potential to lead to new understanding and treatments of neurological dysfunction.
Biomedical Data Science Day was held on October 25, 2017 and was attended by 70+ professionals from industry, foundations, other universities and Princeton. This "Industry Engagement Day" was organized by the
Office of Corporate Engagement and Foundation Relations and the
School of Engineering and Applied Science.
