Princeton Professor Jonathan Cohen presented recent research at the University’s Biomedical Data Science Day, focused on combining imaging of brain function (from single neurons to whole brain activity) with modern methods from statistics and machine learning to measure, analyze, and simulate the brain’s own computations. His work through the Princeton Neuroscience Institute is designed to increase understanding of how the human brain works; it has the potential to lead to new understanding and treatments of neurological dysfunction.
