(InfoSec 201) This session is back by popular demand (offered at Princeton in 2019). Most households have networks of devices linked to the internet. This network often includes computers, gaming systems, TVs, tablets, smartphones, etc. Who secures your home network? You do, of course! Many of us set up a wireless router, go about our business, and forget about it. But in this age of data breaches and other online threats, we all need to take measures to increase the security of our home network. Join us and obtain a helpful checklist to aid in completing this important security task. We promise, it’s not that scary! This InfoSec 200-level class does not have any prerequisites and will define intermediate-level concepts or terminology.
Please see attachments for the corresponding securing your home network checklist.
