Princeton is exploring different ways to collaborate with many different kinds of external partners. In this session, led by Anthony Boccanfuso of the University-Industry Demonstration Partnership (UIDP), four pairs of partners presented on their unique collaboration, how it came about, how it is currently going, and how it has advanced research and innovation.
Mike Wiley and Tony Williams discussed health research through NJ Health Foundation Grants. Jonathan Becker and Jeremy Adelman discussed open societies and the teaching and research of history through the Global History Lab and the Open Society University Network (OSUN). Hwajung Kang and Andrew Houck discussed quantum science education through IBM’s QURIP program for undergraduates. Sharad Malik and Jason Fung discussed security & privacy education through the Princeton-Intel REU. Finally, all participants joined together for a group Q&A.
