Confluence: Getting Started

Getting Started with Confluence will provide a basic overview of the platform, including why you might want to use Confluence over other tools, how to log in, and basic navigation. By the end of the workshop, you will also be able to: 

• Create a personal space 

• Create a page in your space

• Edit/organize the layout and content of a page

• Share your space and page with others

For the first 40-45 minutes, we will work together hands-on. The last 15-20 minutes will be reserved for independent work time and questions.

Workshops will take place in-person but will be recorded for later viewing. If for any reason we are not able to meet in-person, we will use Zoom as a backup. You may sign up for any of the workshops that appeal to you; no prior knowledge of Confluence is needed. Please feel free to bring your own device; we will have a limited number of PC laptops available if needed.
