Interacting quantum systems tend to behave like a random system at long times, independent of the microscopic nature of such systems. This is the generalization of the butterfly effect to quantum systems. In our work, we find a new type of universal property of interacting quantum systems, obtained by looking at their spatial evolution. Such signatures are unique to quantum systems, and can also be seen on a quantum computer.
