Congress spends close to 10,000 hours holding meetings meetings and debates where they form public policy. These meetings are especially important to organizations and businesses, who need to stay on top of developments that could significantly impact their work. Employees usually have to spend up to a whole work day watching these long video streams and writing up notes to figure out the policy developments and implications.
Rescript, the software startup developed as part of this research, automates this process and provided set of completely new capabilities for this longstanding workflow, using AI and specially-developed ML techniques. On the technical front, we developed novel ways to reliably analyze meetings with minimal AI hallucinations. On the business front, Rescript has grown in monthly revenue by 6X since December and has found a sustainable business model. Our customers say that Rescript's summaries and chatbot analysis are at, or exceed, the level of their employees.
