On Wednesday, November 2, 2022, the Seeger Center for Hellenic Studies hosted Sounds of Cyprus and Alkinoos Ioannidis for a joint concert and lecture event. Co-led by Elena Chris and Peter Douskalis, the concert program featured lively arrangements of traditional and popular Cypriot music. Alkinoos Ioannidis followed with a deeply engaging talk about the significance of songs in his own personal journey as a listener, performer, and songwriter.
