An autobiographical play performed by its author, A. Revathi, a transgender writer, performer, and activist from Tamil Nadu in South India. The play is entitled "Vellai Mozhi--Frankly Speaking" and Revathi performed it for the Princeton University community on November 17, 2022 as part of an event that launched the Power, Inequality, Dissent series (2022-24), sponsored by the MS Chadha Center for Global India. Aniruddhan Vasudevan, Link-Cotsen Postdoctoral Fellow at the Society of Fellows provided the translations that accompany the Tamil-language performance. The series is co-organized by Divya Cherian (Assistant Professor, Department of History) and Harini Kumar (post-doctoral research associate, Chadha Center for Global India/History).
