The Daily Princetonian's Frosh Survey is a far-reaching census of Princeton's incoming first-year class, founded in-part by this research team. Each year, The Daily Princetonian sends out a survey to all incoming first-year students, asking students over 100 questions about demographics, college life, academics, politics, and more. Upon collecting and sorting the data, we compile the results into a series of graphs that we design to be understandable and visually compelling. These graphs are organized as a special project on The Daily Princetonian's website and contextualized with short blurbs explaining each subsection of the survey. The project crystallizes as the culmination of hard work by a number of students beyond our core team; the survey would not be possible without the help of our web developers, narrative writers, graphic designers, and paper’s managing board who helps refine and edit the final project. Once the survey is released to the world, The Daily Princetonian's social media team creates graphics that highlight the most interesting and engaging findings of the survey and share them with the paper's broader online audience.
